IN BETWEEN DAYS

so much of life is lived somewhere in between...

after a very short run as box elder (old pavement songs, anyone?), i have updated my other blog dealio to headsparks.blogspot.com  ... a nod to old indie faves seam (whose frontman was korean-american, by the way!) and a glimpse into the random firing and misfiring of synapses all up in my head.

may you have a glorious easter sunday!  there would be nothing better than to know the reality of the resurrection everyday...

CH-CH-CH-CHECK IT OUT

wha-wha-wha... what's it all about?

in pursuit of some clarity with the whole writing dealio, i've opened (christened? launched?) a blog more specifically devoted to writing.  i'm sure i'll continue to list and ramble (i can't help myself), but i've gone and multitasked my blogging here.

DOUBLE YOUR MONEY ALL DAY LONG

man, i love me some hgtv, tlc and discovery channel.  they could show pretty much anything, and i'll watch it.  and get really into it.  super typhoons, breaking into homes & then installing super high-tech security systems, being a crab fisher in alaska, re-staging your home for maximum resale, the sordid lives of tattoo artists, you name it.... i might not have ever known that some of these topics existed previously, but edit them neatly and host them with some peppy folks, and i'm all in.

i'm watching cash cab right now, and i so wish i could ride because i'm pretty sure that my wife and i would win lots of cash.  i could answer easy questions about sports or mid-90s indie rock, and she could answer everything else.  we would rock the $25 and $50 questions, struggle a little bit with the $100 questions (it makes for good tv), win the red-light challenge and then proceed to double down and win the video question at the end.  i have it all planned out.  i even know who we would call with our mobile phone shout-out (basically, the call-a-friend option from millionaire)...

maybe i'll just try to get the design on a dime team to redo our bedroom...
